Windsurfing Top Tip with Anne-Marie Reichman

A windsurfing top tip on how to learn a new skill from Anne-Marie Reichman:

‘If you want to learn your next trick, or go in bigger waves, or by any means expand your horizon (which is forever in this great sport), I advise you to think about it on land.

Think about what you can do... even write it down.

Then write the things you want to learn and choose 'realistic goals' (short term and then long term).

It can be a fun adventure to gather information on the net, talk to people who are already doing the things you like to learn... go video them, play them back in slow motion... until you get your head around it.

Once you have a good picture in your mind, close your eyes and visualize you doing your 'next move' over and over... It is proven this helps like real training.

Now... with a good preparation you know what to do on the water.

Oh yeah.. dont forget to enjoy every step of your own learning curve and give yourself a compliment on the things that DO work out!

Have fun!!!
